Located in Glenfinnan, west of Fort William, on the Abhainn Shlatach Burn, Slatach Hydro was the largest station in the TLS Hydro portfolio until 2017. The station is approximately 1MW plant that combines two turbines and two intakes generating over 3000 MWhs each year, enough to power approximately 1000 homes.
Located in Scotland's Western Highlands, Slatach Hydro in Glenfinnan, was the second of three sites that we built in this area. Slatach Hydro is located not far away from the Glenfinnan Viaduct which was famously used in the Harry Potter films.
